Your choice of an attorney is a decision that could affect you for the rest of your life. If you have been charged with a crime or the future of your family is at stake, who would you want in court with you?
Denver, CO Criminal Defense Attorney
Andres Guevara is a skilled and knowledgeable attorney, with experience in and out of the courtroom defending Colorado residents charged with all types of crimes:
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his law degree from George Washington University. In law school, he was notes editor of the Law Review and president of the Hispanic Law Students Association.
After law school, he worked as an assistant district attorney in the busiest county in New York: the Office of the Manhattan District Attorney. As a prosecutor, he handled hundreds of cases, ranging from minor cases to the most serious offenses. This experience as a prosecutor gives him important insight into how law enforcement and prosecutors build cases–insight that he uses today to help defend his clients.
Andres is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.
He is a member in good standing with the Colorado State Bar, the Denver Bar Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the Hispanic Bar Association, and the Arapahoe County Bar Association. Andres is also a contributing author of a recent book, Medicolegal Aspects of Marijuana: Colorado Edition. For more information about his background and credentials, please see below.
